Angela Stevens has been a radio personality in Washington DC for over 10 years and is currently the morning show co-host and promotion director for DC’s only Christian music station, WGTS 91.9 fm.
Angela’s broadcast career began at the age of 5 with a pair of Styrofoam cups and string. In her early childhood she had a habit of chewing wires which could account for her notorious mental lapses. In college, Angela’s parents encouraged her to pursue a broadcasting degree when they realized she couldn’t do math.
To avoid having to face "the real world," Angela took a part-time job after college working for Clear Channel Radio. When they discovered her ability to read maps she was transferred to the traffic department where she made helicopter noises every morning and afternoon. After almost becoming the new autonomous voice for the DC Metro system in 2006, she was hired to be a professional 4th grader at WGTS 91.9. She currently has two outstanding parking tickets in West Virginia and New Jersey, and resides somewhere in the suburbs of DC with her husband, two cats, dog, and imaginary friend Gordon.
